BAMCEF’s national convention held

The speakers emphasised the need for training the workers of the organisation and for intensifying the Phule-Ambedkarite movements in the country

NAGPUR (Maharashtra): The 30th national convention of BAMCEF was held on the premises of Yashkayi DK Khaparde Memorial Trust in Ringnabodi from 26 to 29 December 2013. The chief guest at the event was Justice K. Chandru, former judge of Madras High Court while Amrik Singh, professor, California State University, Sacramento, USA, was also present. The speakers emphasised the need for training the workers of the organisation and for intensifying the Phule-Ambedkarite movements in the country.

The convention began with hoisting of the flag, which was followed by the inaugural session. The three-day convention was divided into seven sessions. These sessions were addressed by Dr Devnarayan Singh Yadav, Advocate Gautam A. Tambe, Advocate Premchand Chaurasia, AK Diwakar, BD Borkar, Baloji Nayak, Nitin Ganorkar, DK Singh, Kailash Chand, KS Chauhan, Dr Arjun Bhai Patel, Dr A. Ramaiyya, Shivmurat Ram, Hemraj Singh Patel, Suresh Dravid, Daya Ram, Dr Vivek Kumar, S.M. Mushrif, Vikram Singh Panwar, N. Gangadhar, Dinesh Bhai Sonalki, Dr. Pragya, Aruna Tirpude, Dr Manisha Bangar, Dr Kaushal Pawar, Prof E. Sudha Rani, Yam Khobragade, Sanjay Ingle, S.K. Anand and Dr Kishore Gajbhiye. The valedictory session was chaired by Ashok Parmar, national president of BAMCEF.
