ITARSI (Madhya Pradesh): Well-known socialist thinker, economist and national secretary of Rashtriya Jan Parishad Sunil Bhai was remembered at a meeting at Kesla in the tribal-dominated belt of Madhya Pradesh by representatives of people’s organizations from all over the country on 6 May.
Kesla was the Karmabhoomi of Sunil Bhai. Among those who attended the meeting were Medha Patkar of Narmada Bachao Andolan, Anil Sadgopal of Shiksha Adhikar Manch, Bhai Janaklal of Chhattisgarh Multi Morcha, Lingraj Azad of Niyamgri movement (Odisha), Anurag Modi of Shramik Adivasi Sangathan, Khilawan Chandrakar of Bhrastachar Virodhi Jan Andolan, Aradhna Bhargav of Kisan Sangathan, Phagram of Kisan Adivasi Sangathan and grassroots activists working in Bargi, Singrauli and Satna in Madhya Pradesh, Durg in Chhattisgarh and in Maharashtra -Mangesh Yadav
