NEW DELHI: President Pranab Mukherjee inaugurated the new Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi on 4 June 2013. The marble structure, located on Kasturba Marg, near India Gate, has many specialities, one of which is the installation of statues of Bahujan personalities on its premises. They include Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Shahuji Maharaj, Savitribai Phule, Ahilyabai Holkar and Dr Ambedkar. Here, we present photographs of the statues. (All Photos by Sarvesh)
