Electricity cables ruining the life of Adivasis

Residents of an Adivasi-majority village opposing the building of a high-voltage line over the village have come up against the administration and the police. The gram sabha passing a resolution against the laying of the cables seems to have had no effect. The police have now arrested three Adivasi youth involved in erecting memorial stones (patthalgadi)
