It is unfortunate that in a giant pluralist society like India, cultural differences are talked about only in elitist idioms. The culture and tradition of the labouring Bahujan society is usually described as uncivilized, tasteless and and non-cultural and pushed to margins. ‘Mahishasur: Mithak Va Paramparayen’ intellectually challenges this attitude.
