यूजीसी ने कथित तौर पर ‘मान्यता प्राप्त’ पत्र-पत्रिकाओं की सूची बनाने की प्रक्रिया में बदलाव का निर्णय लिया है। अब यह काम स्टैंडिंग कमेटी के बजाय एक दूसरी समिति करेगी। यूजीसी ने इसे केयर की संज्ञा दी है। फारवर्ड प्रेस की खबर :

यूजीसी द्वारा अनुमोदन सूची से बहिष्कृत पत्रिकाओं के संपादक मानते हैं कि सरकार असहमति की आवाजों को दबा रही है। यह विचारों के कत्ल की तैयारी है। इसका विरोध किया जाना चाहिए। इसके लिए सभी लघु पत्र-पत्रिकाओं को एकजुट होना चाहिए
