SC and ST reservations under threat

A petition filed in the Supreme Court asks for the creamy layer among Dalits and Adivasis to be ascertained and for it to be excluded from the purview of reservations. A three-judge Bench that includes Chief Justice Dipak Mishra has taken note of the petition. This is part of a larger conspiracy to end reservations, writes Satyendra Murali
