In J&K, demand for implementing reservations for Dalits and OBCs grows louder

These Constitutionally guaranteed provisions haven’t been properly implemented in the state. OBCs have been getting only 2 per cent reservations instead of their rightful 27%. The rights of Dalits and Adivasis also have also been taken away from them. A rally was held on 5 February to protest this state of affairs
