BSP chief Mayawati has said that if voted to power, she will have a huge statue of Parshuram installed. Clearly, it is the Brahmins, and not the Bahujans, who are her priority. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav is also making similar noises, says Kanwal Bharti

Uttar Pradesh will go to the polls in a few months from now but it is already clear which party will form the new state government and what will be the political status of the Bahujans. In fact, the political situation here is clearer than it ever was. There is no need to rack your brains to get the answer. But if I reveal the answer at the outset, you may lose interest in what I have to say further on the matter.
