Five books by Dr Ambedkar that remained close to Kanshi Ram’s heart

In his book, ‘Chamcha Yug’, Kanshi Ram has mentioned five books by Dr Ambedkar that played a key role in his life. Alakh Niranjan explores those books

Kanshiram spread the message of Baba Saheb enthusiastically across northern India. For this, he studied the books written by Dr Ambedkar exhaustively. In his only book, Kanshiram mentions the books by Baba Saheb that guided him on his path. These are the books in which Dr Ambedkar has laid out his dreams, ideals, thoughts as well as a clear plan for bring about change:

  1.      Castes in India: Their Mechanism, Genesis and Development (1916)
  2.      The Annihilation of Caste (1936)
  3.      Mr Gandhi and the Emancipation of the Untouchables (1943)
  4.      What Congress and Gandhi have done to the Untouchables (1945)
  5.      States and Minorities (1947)
