NEW DELHI: Following a complaint lodged by a right-wing students’ group of Jawaharlal Nehru University against the October 2014 issue of FORWARD Press centred on ‘Bahujan Shraman tradition’, on 9 October, the police raided the office of the magazine and the residence of the Editor-in-Chief Ivan Kostka. The police confiscated the copies of the magazine and detained some employees till late in the night. Subsequently, Kostka and the magazine’s Consulting Editor Pramod Ranjan had to take anticipatory bail.
